Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program

Our CDPH-approved Nurse Assistant Training Program prepares you to work as a certified CNA in healthcare facilities throughout California. Both online and in-person options are available.

Program overview

The Nurse Assistant Training Program consists of 175.5 clock hours of coordinated theory, lab, and clinical learning. Successful completion makes students eligible to sit for the California state competency exam.

Course 1: 10 weeks

Course 2: 13 weeks

67.5 hrs Theory

108 hrs Clinical

Delivery options

Theory coursework is available in-person or online (synchronous via Google Meet + Canvas LMS). Clinical training is conducted in Grand Terrace, San Bernardino County.

Admission requirements

Age 16 or older
Valid government-issued ID + Social Security Card
Physical exam including TB test (within 90 days)
COVID vaccine card or required testing
Criminal background check (BCIA 8016)
Live scan fingerprint (program-specific form required)
Ability to read, write, and understand English
